Integration with Microsoft Team

The current feature of MybotChat for Microsoft Team is for internal use of a team to get instant answers from the bot.

Use Case: a team created a custom AI Chatbot based on ChatGPT and train the bot with their internal documents; Then share this custom bot within the company. Later on, anyone from the team can chat with the bot to get quick answer about the topic of interest.

Future Enhancement: MybotChat can be a customer support tool that support team can interact with end user in realtime and more. If this a feature you want to use soon, please let us know so that we can speed up development for you.

Prerequisite

You need to have an account with MybotChat and created a chatbot. If you have not done this step yet, visit this get-started turorial page to start.

1. Generate API Key

We need to generate an API key and get the Chatbot Id for use in next step.

  1. Login to your account, go to My Chatbots then select a bot of your choice and go to API Key tab. Select a chatbot
  2. click on Add New to see a popup form to enter a name. Name is optional. Finally click Save. Add New Key
  3. From the list of your API Key, copy the key. Copy API Key

2. Finish Setup for MS Team App

With API Key and Chatbot Id from the above step, enter those in MS Team App as in screenshot below:

If both API Key and Chatbot Id are entered correctly, you should be able to see the Chatbot page where you can chat with your bot.
