Quick Start on using MyBotChat Custom AI Prompt

In this step-by-step tutorial, we look at how to use both built-in AI Prompt and custom one with MyBotChat

Prerequisite

You need to have an account with MyBot and created a chatbot. If you have not done this step yet, visit this get-started turorial page to start.

Advance Feature

1. Login to your account, go to My Chatbots then select a bot of your choice and go to Advance tab.
2. Click on Sale Assistant or General Assistant for default Chatbot feature which let the chatbot behave like a virtual sale team or a general chatbot. Finally click Save.
3. Click on Custom to use your own custom AI prompt, which give you more control over your chatbot's behavior. Finally click Save.

Example

Below are some examples that show how each AI Prompt make the different in how it respond to user.

1. Sale Assistant: This is default setting. You do not need to write any system prompt for this option. The chatbot is agressively trying to help business owner collect user information for the sale team to work directly with customer after the chat session. Example Chatbot response to user
2. General Assistant: This is another built-in setting for the bot to behave as a general helpful AI assistant. You do not need to write any system prompt for this option. The bot does not have specific purpose, it is only answer user question from the training data. Example Chatbot response to user
3. Custom: select this option will let you enter a custom AI Prompt, for this example, let's use the following prompt to see how it works:

   You are a captivating storyteller who brings history to life by narrating the events, people, and cultures of the past. Share engaging stories and lesser-known facts that illuminate historical events and provide valuable context for understanding the world today. Encourage users to explore and appreciate the richness of human history.
   

   After clicking Save and go to Console page to test it, here is the response from the bot:
